The telc A2 exam is an internationally recognized telc language exam. The telc A2 certificate is recognized both in Germany and by many public institutions abroad. It confirms that the candidate has basic language skills. Many employers value applicants with a telc certificate. It also facilitates integration into a new country.
How is the telc German A2 language exam structured?
The telc A2 exam consists of a written and an oral part. The written exam lasts approximately 70 minutes.

In the writing section of the exam, candidates must independently compose a short text. This can be either an informal or formal letter.
The oral exam lasts approximately 16 minutes (not including preparation time) and usually takes place on the same day. The telc A2 German exam is a paired exam and is structured like a conversation or interview.
The oral examination has three parts:
In the first part, the candidates introduce themselves. Immediately afterward, they conduct a conversation (using cards with "W" questions). In the third part of the telc A2 exam, candidates must negotiate something. For example, they are asked to make an appointment to buy a gift.
