>How do I know which language level is right for me? Before your course starts, take our online placement test to determine your current language level according to the Common European Framework of Reference (A1-C2). Based on the results, we will place you in the appropriate class. If you are an absolute beginner, you will start at level A1.
>What is included in the course fee? The course fee includes all lessons as specified, course materials, a completion certificate, access to the online learning platform, and participation in free activities from our cultural program. Accommodation and meals are not included in the standard course fee unless explicitly mentioned (e.g. in some teenage and junior programs).
>Do I need a visa for participation in the course? The necessity of a visa depends on your nationality and the duration of your stay. EU citizens do not need a visa. Non-EU citizens should inquire at the German embassy or consulate. For courses over 90 days, a student visa is usually required. We support you with an enrollment confirmation for your visa application.
>Can you help me with finding accommodation? Yes, we offer various accommodation options such as host families, shared apartments, student dormitories, and hotels. When booking a course, you can choose your preferred type of accommodation. Prices vary depending on the location and type of accommodation.
>What does the course fee include? The course fee includes all lessons as stated, course materials, a certificate of completion, access to the online learning platform, and participation in free activities from our cultural program. Accommodation and meals are not included in the standard course price unless explicitly mentioned (e.g. in some teenager and junior programs).
>What happens if I need to cancel my course? For cancellations more than 30 days before the course starts, you will receive a full refund minus a €75 administrative fee. If the cancellation occurs between 15 and 30 days before the course starts, the refund will be 70%. For cancellations within less than 15 days before the course starts, a refund of 50% is granted. Please note that no refunds are possible after the course has started. It is recommended to take out travel insurance that covers course cancellations.
>Are there age restrictions for the courses? Our regular courses for adults are aimed at individuals aged 18 and above. Special junior programs are available for younger students aged between 12 and 17, which include individual supervision and age-appropriate activities. Family programs are designed for children under 12 so that parents and children can learn together.
>How many students are in a class? Our standard courses are designed to accommodate a maximum of 12 students per class to ensure that each learner receives the necessary attention from the teacher. Participants in our internationally composed groups come from various regions such as Europe, Latin America, Asia, and North Africa. In intensive and specialized courses, smaller groups are usually formed with a maximum of 8-10 students. In addition, we offer individual private lessons for personalized instruction.
>Can I extend my course if I want to stay longer? Yes, you can extend your course if there is availability. Please inform our office as soon as possible that you would like to extend, and we will make the necessary arrangements. The price for the extension will be based on our current rates.
